Facebook/Myspace/Bebo.......They are only good for certain things. IMHO ppl that post information on them, do not really know what they are getting themselves into. Just because you think that you have set them to private, think again. There are sites out there where you can PAY, and see what ppl have been posting. The ppl/companies are not paying a lot of money either. Just because you have your info set to private, think again...
Networking sites also bring, kids in school posting violence videos, other finding out how they were cheated on, who is doing what. It is all about popularity, and see who can post the most on the wall or the comment page. I have seen many arguments over these networking sites......gotta love queens
No thanks to any networking site. I only use them to promote my site, and play mobsters...
To keep up with my friends, we have a private board, which I am sure many would love to see what is in there in matter of fact I know they would...after the bitch slap 09 thread at the UN......I told my friends I would play nice, yeah right -- they were crying wolf, I ran them back into the woods |

What was that old saying... "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that people are out to get you."
EDIT TO ADD: Seriously, once you've registered to log onto the Internet, you've already given away your privacy, and there's nothing you can do about it. Why do you think so many sites as for personal information? Even the innocent shopping sites like Amazon and Ebay and such, they want your info so they can sell you their stuff that you're not even sure you want it half the time.
If this is how you feel about the Internet, then you might as well just sell your computer, sell your car, burn your IDs, and go live in a cabin in the woods and hunt wild game for food and cut yourself off from all human contact, because that is pretty much the way you want to live.
Otherwise, just sit back and enjoy the ride on the Information Superhighway. |

I see no reason to close the thread.
I've just cleaned it up a bit.
Just try to keep it off the public forum in future. |
