That might be an option. I'm not set on adding any more forums to the board at the moment until there is either a high demand for it, or people start making and replying to a lot of TV related topics. Seeing that this community is small at the moment, adding another forum will only make it appear less active. |

I completely forgot about this old topic and was going to go create a new one...I'm glad I looked first! There was something tv related I was going to post the other day, go figure I can't remember what it is anymore! 
Have you thought about this idea anymore Jax?
I really don't think a whole forum dedicated specifically to TV would be necessary, but what about potentially adding TV on to the movie section? I feel kind of like the topics go hand in hand, and that might be an appropriate place to let people talk about tv rather than just in the misc, off-topic area?
Just a thought! |

So how about movies/tv to replace Movie Central? I would just need another name for the forum that is somewhat different, movies/tv is so boring, but we could have that forum dedicated to the big screen and silver screen.
Thoughts...ideas...suggestions |

I'm never all that great at thinking up witty names.
I like the idea of "big screen silver screen" though. It has some nice alliteration!
Other then that the only thing that really comes to my mind is something like the Screening Room, or simply generalizing the idea into Entertainment Central.
Unless one of the aforementioned ideas is a hit, maybe I'll think of something later, or better yet, someone else will! |

i agree with j-manx, although this forum is great, there are a lot of off-topic places. i think a TV section would be great combined with the movie forum.
a name....hmm... "Idiot boxes and big flashy screen thingies"

The best I can come up with is Entertainment Central, then adding something about tv to the forum's description.
Something like....
Are you a movie critic or love writing reviews about the hottest new episode on tv? Know about an up and coming flick you just gotta to talk about or a cliff hanger from this week's latest drama that's driving you nuts? Maybe you simply feel the need to warn others not to waste their time, or money, at the box office? Share your television and movie reviews here.
I even tried looking at what some other forums might have for a move/tv combo title had but nothing really rang a bell...
It's alright if this idea doesn't fly, it'd just be nice to have a resolution if it's going to work or not rather than just letting it die. |
