Expected downtime next weekend

I've mentioned this before a few times on the forum, but now the time is nearing. I have until June 17 to move the site before my hosting package is up here at 100webspace.com

When I first signed up at 100webspace, they were very reliable, and support was very helpful. It was also my first stab at going from a free forum host to a paid hosting account. Over the past certain features and aspects of the hosting account started showing some flaws ie sql errors, mail errors, gzip compression errors, slow page load times, control panel features that didn't work. All these problems plus the fact that I would save around $35-$40 a year by moving.

I will be moving HCF to a different server, which is a lot faster, and allows me to expand the site more. Even though this forum doesn't use much resources, the move will also give me more flexibility in the amount of resources I can use if I so choose.

This will be the first time I will be moving a complete site to another server, so you might experience some problems, but I will try to keep downtime to a minimum. Speaking of downtime, I am not sure how long the forum will be offline doing the transfer, but I hope it shouldn't be too long. I will take the forum offline late next Friday, June 8, and will begin the transfer on the 9th.
