Contest details
From November 21, 2008 to December 31, 2008 est, the two members who have earned the most FP (forum points) will win a choice of either a free vB or ipb owned license with free web hosting for 1 year. This offer is available for all registered Hotclubforums.com members who are in good standing. After you have selected which forum software you wish to own, the software will be purchased by me within 1-3 business days, and then transferred to your name. You will not be obligated to use the free hosting package. Third and forth place winners will win a 1 year free web hosting package.
Members will earn FP by making posts on the forum. All forums are eligible for FP except the Welcome Center & Promoter's Paradise forums. You will not be able to transfer FP to other members. There is a FP limit per post, per day one can earn. Please do not copy and paste content from other sources without putting them in quotes. Violation of this will result in a warning, and could result in the ability to participate in this or any future contests. All other forum rules apply. If you feel that someone is violating any of the contest rules, please notify either myself or Luke via PM.

Hey Daniel, the contest starts on Friday, November 21. Right now you'll notice everyone's FP is null. It will be activated early Friday morning when the contest begins. Once the contest begins, I will be sending out weekly reports. Right now you'll see a number beside CD, that's the currency used to purchase privileges such as signatures, avatars all the way up to real prizes such as iPods and other cool prizes.

I'm posting this from my phone so I hope this turns out correctly.
CD is the currency that is used for the shop items. The shop items are both virtual and real prizes. FP (forum points) will be used for this contest. To gain some extra CD and FP you can bank your earnings as well as play some of the games in the arcade. |

The first week results show that sexyeyes is blowing away the competition! Here is a quick top 5 breakdown:
sexyeyes: 867 FP
Luke: 463 FP
zoey: 460 FP
Spider-Man: 378 FP
THE-SYNDICATE: 225 FP

Well then again the battle for second place is a 248 point difference. It may seem like a lot, but it really isn't. |
