im getting this instead of "click here to view your message or click here to return to oipc" after posting...

I remember that from when I was over at forumup. I'm not sure if it's the same when you're privately hosted, but from how I remember, it generally had something to do with how your computer transports information to the forum server.

Your message still gets posted though, right?

I've noticed a few errors/slow times this past week.

We've seen this error a few times, your messages will still go through, most likely it's their php mail function that is screwed up.

Any message you send should still be sent from my understanding. You just get that weird error message that confuses everyone. Confused

It must be from a general region or something. I've posted several times tonight and have yet to get the error message.

As I said before, it has to do with how your computer is communicating with the forum server, so any message you try to post, be it PM or post, will probably have that error. Your message should still go through though. That's the most confusing part, to me at least.

I'll try to break it down. phpbb uses a function that will notify you when a reply has been made, or when you send or recieve a email or PM if you have chosen this option. If you get this debug error, most likely you won't get the email informing you of the new reply or PM/email has been sent to you. Your message still gets sent regardless.

Now 100webspace has had many problems with their php mail function in the past, and that's why we see this error over and over again. Everyone that I host has not, and/or should not have seen this error once on their forum(s). Also my page load times are much faster. It's about time HCF made the switch, don't you think?
