I don't listen to those albums. Where did they get their data from, and what kind of people are listening to that music?

The data would come from sales and radio play, requested songs at a radio station.

This particular poll came from the original Top 50 albums of the year. They asked readers to vote from that list to make it to their top 30.

I have heard of several bands on the list Cool

I have a lot of the music in my itunes library whether from these albums or previous albums from the artists.
